We are not alone!

There’s a vast network of women working in Muslim countries who are in the same boat as us. We have added a page to this blog where you can find a list of organisations and resources that can be useful for your work as a Muslim feminist. We have also included links to a small number of organisations based in the west that you might find useful.

In the organisations and links that we have listed you will find an assortment of resources including Muslim women’s media watch dogs, Muslim women’s legal advocacy groups, Muslim women’s organisations working on scripture analysis and global campaigns to stop violence against women and Muslim LGBTQ groups (we have not found a muslim womens group working on disabilities as yet) . On most of these websites, there are links that will guide you to additional resources.

Your concerns about the Muslim woman’s position in society are shared by many and there are hundred of Muslim women’s organisations working for our rights.
